The Biodiversity Conservation Center (BCC) is a nonprofit, non-governmental organization working for restoration and protection of pristine nature allover Northern Eurasia.

The BCC's main objectives are:

  • designing and implementing various conservation programs and projects;

  • providing methodological and consultative assistance to conservation initiatives, green activists, staff of nature reserves, national parks and other protected natural areas;

  • promoting partnership between Russian and overseas environmental organizations, coordinating their efforts in wild nature protection;

  • developing efficient mechanisms of fundraising for nature conservation projects;

  • improving management of protected natural areas and developing conditions for sustainable livelihood of their residents
Activity
At present, the BCC runs 5 basic programs:

Forest Program
Improving Management of Protected Natural Areas
Wildlife Network
International Program
Publishing Program,

a number of large Internet projects (in Russian, so far...):
holds annual international event "March for Parks",
is engaged in educational activities:
develops and implements long-term projects
and others...
