AWARDS FOR 1999
The Fund Board received 98 applications; 95 of them participated in the competition. Seventy Natural Protected Territories (49 nature reserves and 21 national parks), 4 NGOs involved in environmental education, 1 school and 1 university took part in the competition. The projects submitted for the Protection of Territories and Ecological Education Awards were evaluated by two expert teams. Applications for the Green Cup Award (protection, restoration and reintroduction of vegetation) were also considered. The experts and the Fund Board distributed the awards among the following projects: “Protection of Territories” Award Valdaisky National Park
